Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a moody adventure game about wandering a deserted town and slowly piecing together what happened there. You tap to move, examine objects, and solve environmental puzzles that are baked into the story rather than bolted on.

The pacing is slow in the best way. There's no combat, just exploration, a haunting soundtrack, and puzzles that make you feel clever without a walkthrough. I got genuinely stuck twice and the solutions turned out to be fair once I looked properly.

Everything happens offline, and there are no hints pushed at you. It's short — maybe four hours — but it's the kind of short you remember.
